Basse-Taille Enamel. Interior of shaped copper bowl was etched then pierced. Transparent and opaque enamels fired multiple times. Anodized copper wires threaded through openings and shaped.
This piece was inspired by the jazz composition "Victory Stride" by James P. Johnson
as played by the Baltimore Symphony under the direction of Marin Alsop at Strathmore Hall.
